Respect

People really need to know what's funny and what's disrespectful, there's A FINE LINE between those two. Especially if they are in your inner circles, family or most of the time close friends, and as I grow older it's hard to not have their respect back. "Ohh it's him, it'll be fine. Let me do whatever I want". I'm a loving, caring, and loyal person, but I refuse to be treated disrespectful.

Lifehack Quotes

I don't know if Marilyn Monroe really did say that, but she is right!

Privacy.
This!! This is the most common thing they violate, just because you think a person is close to you it is okay to go through their phone. Really? Let see if they have naked pictures inside, or let's see if they were being steamy with another person in WhatsApp or Skype... WTF!!! if only there was a way we could lock our phones and laptops with a soul recognition because numbers, letters, and fingerprints weren't enough.

I had a friend who kept checking notes in my phone, I really really started to think he was an FBI agent trying to find evidence in my phone to solve a murder case LOLS when asked why, he said he was interested in what I wrote (before blogging I used to write my thoughts and journals in notes in my phone), it's not that I keep something secret in my notes like a diary, but he could just ask right for a print right? lol

Space.
I get attached to certain things, they are mostly not human beings lol there are a lot of stuff you should N. E . V . E . R touch before asking permission. "Duh! We knew!" NOPE! not everyone knows that, surprising right? Yes, there are people, who is not even in any circles dare to do just that. AND I HAPPENED TO HAVE MET ONE.

He was a relative, he traveled to Jakarta from Manado for a holiday. We got along since it wasn't our first time meeting, when I went to Manado, he was the one I reached out, so yeah... We had fun, I took him sightseeing, to beaches and stuff, it was fun until one day he went through my closet, grabbed a jacket, and wore it without saying anything. That baby madafaqa went home not long after, and never heard from me ever since :3

Is it that hard to ask for a permission to borrow a jacket? What's wrong with that? I might have not snapped and asked him to leave if he had just asked. "Can I borrow your jacket?" 5 words! Wow, it's amazing how people got too comfortable to pronounce just 5 words. It's scary how they think they can do what they want with other peoples' stuff without asking for permission.

Decision.
We may remind someone about what could result in whatever they were about to do, but they don't need you to tell them it's right or wrong. Unless they work for you, because a boss is always right, right? *sarcasm

Time.
Well... I must admit this is where I fall... it's so hard to choose between sleep and take a shower to meet friends in a shopping mall, I LOVE YOU GUYS but most times I choose my bed (this is how I lose all my friends.....) don't get confused, if it's work related, I try to arrive at least half an hour before appointment just to prep everything.

I know I should be punctual under any circumstances without excuses, but if you think I'm wrong see point number three.

I never beg for someone to respect me, I believe it should come from both sides, and don't you think it's a common sense to treat people with respect not just for the sake of a good first impression? It's okay to loosen up, but we need to draw a line we should never cross.
Call me stiff or whatever you want but I always want a relationship based on trust, I believe that comes from respect. If you don't mind about something, ask if others wouldn't too because we don't decide whether it's appropriate or not for other people.
